hurled into heaven;
a star you have
become.

On May 16, 2011, the Space Shuttle Endeavor was launched into space for the last time.

Endeavor was beyond its operating age and must be retired.

The shuttle's final mission to the International Space Station was to deliver a component to mankind's outpost in space. Supplies and people were among its cargo.

Endeavor's encore return was captured 35,000 ft. over Florida on a plane. Stephanie Gordon took the picture using her iPhone and was sent to her Twitter account upon landing.

The stunning image was chosen as one of Time Magazine's best viral photos of 2011.

it makes me wonder how people like you manage to poetize about the most trivial things.

is it a wondrous trait and we are the cursed ones who simply shrug our shoulders or be in awe of those like you?

on a diff note, i thought someone died and was deserving of heaven.

At a hindsight, it is a belated eulogy, never will we see the Space Shuttle fleet flying again.

Perhaps, not even in the next generation. :(

Nate:

Breathtaking photo no? Words flowed immediately upon gazing at it.

Ron:

Thank you!
