From what I see, the respected comedian desires to break the wall separating the closeted, effem-basher homosexuals and the out, flamboyant fairies like him. We are, after all one people.
Whoever spun this article is walking a very thin line. This is not how you do it when you're searching the pink brick road to acceptance.
The publicity stunt is bound to backfire.

gimmik lang yan kasi may pelikula si vice. ano pa ba bago sa phil showbiz puro gimmik para lang mapansin ang movie na pinopromote nila.

Hindi yata maganda yung slant ng article writer. Compared to Zombadings, parang ang panget ng gimmick ng movie ni Vice.
I concur Mugen. Sa pelikula, kwento at pag-arte ang bentahe, hindi gimik na kagaya nito.
Mali talaga yung slant nung writer.

Bad publicity, is good publicity. In a crass and utterly dichotomous society as ours, it's not surprising that people have lost faith on the mass media. When stories could easily be spun without any respect to the journalistic credo, it has become convenient to play to the public's fixation on the scandalous and pedestrian to illicit attention.
