The Blow

At 10 this morning, the Training Officers got the biggest surprise of their lives when they learned that the overhead projector in the Training Room went missing. Investigation is underway as to who the culprit was. Unfortunately, I was one of the guys to leave the Training Room last. We made sure to lock the door when we left. Despite the mind conditioning I keep telling myself, I can't help but feel responsible that it got lost under my nose.

On the eve of my supposed to be promotion, this is how the first month of September greets my botched career.

sabotage. may professional jealousy na groping in the dark. be very extra careful. on the other hand, your impending promotion will delete you from the list of suspects because of the lack of motive. chill.

I'm sorry to hear of your work troubles, Knox. I hope their investigation will be fair and thorough. An overhead projector is not some tiny thing one can easily smuggle out of the office; perhaps security might know something?

wala bang cctv camera dyan? that would help resolve the case faster...

ok lang yan. that's part of life.

The projector got lost. You were one of the last to leave the room. You made sure the room was locked.

"my botched career".

Why?

It has to be proven beyond reasonable doubt, before punishments are effected.

You are being a worry-wart in this instance.

"We made sure to lock the door when we left."

quoting murphy's law: anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

you have done your part, what was expected of you (plural).

don't be sooo uptight, bro. cheer up! see, it isn't rainin on your parade.

dude, hindi ka security guard para bantayan ang properties ng company nyo.

if u've done ur part. so be it.

let the security officers be blamed for the whole thing. And have them conduct the investigation. Chill out. The truth will always prevail.
