Eisenhower Nights

It was here where we discovered ourselves and knew how to be free. It was here where our friendships were many times challenged only to end up victorious and stronger in the end.

- Pulsar,
Infinity Of The Moment

---

Smoke rings form just outside the window
While different band album covers manifest
Themselves as a screensaver
In the computer on top of the table.
The magic sing microphone
Comfortably lies on the sofa chair
As empty beer bottles line up
like domino pieces beside
The bathroom door,
It tells me of a recently concluded
party held in the unit.
Familiar voices still echoes inside
The empty place
As the hang-over smell of leftover beer
Reminds me that
I used to be familiar with this scene.

Who would have thought that
After three years, eight months
And countless days later
The traditions we left after the
Paragon Contingents would
Eventually reemerge,
And take root
In a place called Eisenhower.
