Because we want to feel human. Even if it means that we have to taste the bitterness of restraint, or be conflicted for control. We need it like poison. Saccharine and sultry, with a tart end note.
And we fight it, like its the only logical thing to do, to assert our control over our own leanings. Because whosoever cracks first, gives in, loses. And we, men that we are, don't ever wanna lose.
Although secretly, we want to finally be acquainted with that one who can pacify our urges, make sense of our impulsiveness, and bridle our behemoth egos.

What's sad about this love game is that I'm on the losing end. Attraction was never mutual to begin with (well, it was he who showed the intentions, because I would never-ever start something such as kissing a guy I have no chemistry)
I guess this is one of those rare episodes where I get to consult what remains of my feelings, for in the days I am guarded, never would I let myself reveal such weakness.
But its good to feel. weak. It reminds me of my human frailty.
the love game was, is, and will never be a mutual attraction to begin with. One will make the move because he/she is attracted to someone. Then someone notices that person. And that's the only time when both person will be attracted to each other.
But just to answer the question kung bakit xa nangangamusta pero hindi nagkukwento? Kasi gusto lang nya malaman na andyan ka lagi para sa kanya. Base from experience yan :D

It's a sad thought however that when he finds someone better (looking) I'm sure I'd be discarded, until that guy breaks his heart.
